I just got home from a kayaking clinic and took a nice hot shower.. then tried the school glue/ black headed remover technique again....
It worked much better!! Not all of them are gone, but I could defiantly can see a difference.
The first time I washed my face I just used Cetaphil cleanser... however this time in the shower. I used Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub
So I would recommend trying a facial wash that has a bit of exfoliation mixed into it!!!

School Glue vs Blackhead Remover?
I found this pin .....
...late last evening and it was so interesting to me. I JUST HAD TO KNOW.. I texted a friend to see if she had some school glue even. haha. But this afternoon after class I decided to dig deep into my craft materials and found a bottle of Elmer's School Glue... AHHHAH.
So I then followed the steps..
1- wash face
2- apply glue and spread
3- wait for it to dry
4- then peal off
5- blackhead removal (???)
I was so excited to see this work, I know for me I have a two major areas of blackheads... my nose and chin. So i applied generously, and waited patiently.
After it was dry I started with my nose and pealed off, followed by the chin.
What I got was no noticeable different in my blackheads... perhaps this needs to sit longer on the skin than until visibly and physically dry? I am willing to try this one again, but maybe I should just leave school glue for glitter and paper?
If you have tried it and want to share you experience please do!! I would love to hear it!!

Welcome!
Thanks for coming to check out Double Standard Art... you may be wondering what this is about, I came up with this idea while browsing through Pintrest and just letting ideas run through my head.
The idea for DSA that I have is-
Have you ever saw pins that use a different kind of product that you would not normally use for a beauty product? I sure have! and have you ever wondered if it worked out or if it was totally bogus? Guilty again... Well I have decided to make a blog/series about pins/myths I hear about products that can be used for beauty and other uses (craft supplies, cleaning supplies etc.) and then give them a try and report back to the blog for whomever wants to hear about this little spark of an idea I have started.
Stay tuned for the first D.S.A :)
Thanks for checking my blog out, if you like what you see please spread the word!
Much love!
